Eagle Watching Tour
Full Description:
Lake San Antonio is known as one of the largest eagle winter habitats in Central California. Each year Lake San Antonio holds an Eagle Count in cooperation with the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service. Over 30 Bald Eagles have been spotted around the Lake San Antonio Area. The lake supports a large fish and wildlife population, making it the perfect winter home for these eagles. Lake San Antonio Eagle Watch Tours will take bird watchers out on the lake aboard Eagle One, a 56 foot tour boat purchased especially for the Eagle Watch Tours by the Parks Foundation of Monterey County.
Participants are encouraged to bring binoculars and a sack lunch (no alcoholic beverages are allowed). Please arrive at South Shore Store at least 15 minutes before the start of your tour.
Reservations are required. Tours operate rain or shine.
