PASO HIGH STUDENTS GET A DOSE OF MERCURY
Full Description:
Paso Robles High School knew it was coming and will nt come again for another 10 years so they prepared for it. The "it" of course, is Mercury.
Mercury was visible against the sun’s surface for about five hours, between 11:12 a.m. and 4:08 p.m and students in the Endeavor Engineering Academy showed their friends and teachers how to see the pin-size planet-showcasing some of the science skills they learn in their special program.
<
Tthree types of telescopes were set-up in the school’s quad so students like Sebastion Andrus who described the planet as a "round, black dot" could see it pass the Sun.
