Gary McMaster's Camp Roberts office is decorated from top to bottom with photos of his Scottish military re-enactment regiment, and the man's Scottish burr will keep you from saying goodbye sooner.
Under McMaster's kilt is 38 years of service in the army and 15 years with the "Bydand Forever."
The "Bydand Forever" is a 30-man group, which travels the state and the world for historic battle reenactments of the Gordon Highlanders, a Scottish infantry regiment that fought at Waterloo, during Britain’s age of imperialism, and in World Wars I and II.
